Mick Bensley Presents An Exhibition of Watercolours & Pastels

VegaMick Bensley presents an exhibition of watercolour and pastel paintings, which started earlier this month and runs until the 10th of September. The primary subject of his art is the reconstruction of harrowing maritime rescues, based on service reports obtained through the RNLI; and for later rescues, interviews with those involved.

Along with said rescue depictions are a series of Mick’s other works, for example: representations of local landscapes, books offering a collection of lifeboat rescues and Sussex landscapes, cards, and calendars.
