The exhibition is entitled ‘Painting and Companionship’ by the Peacehaven Art Club. Nearly all of the thirty-six members are showing at least one piece which will give the exhibition a fantastically varied and colourful array of different subjects to look at. Such mediums to look forward to are oils, watercolour, acrylic, pen and ink, pencil and even wood carving.

The Peacehaven Art Club itself is a friendly mixed gender, age and ability group who meet on a Friday morning at the Fellowship Hall, in Mayfield Avenue. The aim of the club is painting, chat and companionship; this concept produces a relaxed atmosphere where advice and instruction is freely given to those who want it and a friendly, objective critique to the excellent work that is produced.
