In his Chairman’s report Chris Davidson presented for the fist time the visitor numbers to The Grange Gallery and Museum for 2013 at a well-attended AGM. These have shown a remarkable 70% rise this year compared to 2012, with an average of 700 visitors a week during the year and a peak in May of 1350. He thanked the hard work by everyone involved at The Grange which made this possible; the Stewards and Key-holders who enable us to keep it open 6 days a week throughout the year, the volunteer gardeners who maintain the Lutyens-designed gardens, and Lesley Skinnner who provides such a welcome in the Tea Garden during the Summer. But particular credit must go to Amanda Davidson, the Gallery Organiser, and to Marcus Bagshaw the Curator who have provided such an inspiring 2013 Exhibition programme.
