There is a special area in the Grange designed just for children, called Belle’s Children’s Corner named after the kind lady who funded the project. Here there are many activities to amuse our younger visitors including a large collection of historical dressing up clothes.
A special feature is a lovely doll’s house which is a large replica of North End House, the home of Burne Jones, the Pre-Raphelite artist who lived in the village. The Kipling Room, the Smuggler’s Cave, the Daddy-Long-Legs display and the Old Rottingdean Photo collection all have accompanying quizzes for both under 5yrs and over 5yrs. When these are correctly completed and checked by the steward a prize will be given out.
